Sort by relevance (default), hot, top, new, or comments. Pair sort=top with a time range from the past hour to all time.
Each post includes id, title, author, subreddit, permalink, url, domain, selftext, score, upvote_ratio, num_comments, created_at, flair, NSFW and spoiler flags, thumbnail, images, and video_url.
Every response carries a cursor. Send it back to walk deeper into the results, and stop when it comes back null.
Results are cached for 15 minutes and requests are paced on our side. If a burst ever returns a 429, retry after a few seconds.

What is a Reddit search API?
A Reddit search API takes a search term and returns matching Reddit posts as data instead of a web page. Rather than scraping search result HTML or registering a Reddit app and handling OAuth tokens, you send one POST request and get JSON with every post's metadata.
